Entry and payment can be left before 12 p.m. on Thursday (October 10th) in the black mailbox by the office door if no one is present. Do not leave anything in the mailbox after 5pm on Thursday, October 10th. Race-day registration and packet pick-up begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday and continues until 8:45 a.m. The 5K and 1-mile events begin promptly at 9 a.m.
CUMBERLAND, Md. — The Megan Bradley Memorial 5K is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th at 9 a.m.. The start and finish will be at Progressive Physical Therapy, located at 11801 Upper Potomac Industrial Park Street, Cumberland, MD 21502. Click here to map your directions to the start line. Dr. Bradley created the first 5K as a class project for her students in 2013 at Frostburg State University. Dr. Bradley was the Vice President of the CASA of Allegany County Board of Directors, a supporter of child advocacy, a professor of early childhood education at Frostburg State University, a wife, a mother, and a friend. Dr. Bradley passed away in April 2016 after a brief illness. The 5K was renamed in her honor. Read The Bottom Line news story about her passing.
This is a flat, out-and-back 3.1-mile road course. Jogging strollers are allowed but are asked to begin the race at the back of the field.
