CASA of Western Maryland recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate for
foster children in Washington and Allegany Counties.
Our volunteer team is trained to speak for children who may not have a consistent adult advocating for their best interests. CASA volunteer advocates get to know each child to learn their story, understand their needs, and make court recommendations that prioritize the child’s well-being. During tumultuous times, a CASA volunteer can be one of the most consistent and committed adults in a child’s life.
